By knowing your Honda’s serial number, you can find out everything you need to know about it. If your Honda has a ten-digit serial number, it is recommended that you keep it on hand in case of a customer service call. If you need to contact Honda customer service, you should have both codes on hand. If your Honda has an eight-digit code, you must also have it recorded. If your Honda has a four- or five-digit code, make sure you keep it on file. First, you need to find the code that is specific to your radio. The only thing that gets lost by doing that is the clock. If you want to unlock the radio on your 2006 Honda Odyssey, there are a few things that you need to do. If some aspect of the infotainment system isn't working properly, a full reset by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery should be the first thing to try. It's a stupid system (Who even steals factory stereos anymore? Especially lousy ones like what the gen 4 Odysseys have) and having it automatically entered by holding the power button down is a good intermediate step to phasing that kind of thing out completely. I bought my 2015 brand new and was not provided with a hardcopy of the stereo code because it is stored internally and accessible to the system on demand. I get that OP wants the code but I'm hoping he'll find that he shouldn't need it because it's stored somewhere in the van's ROM and entered automatically when the stereo power button is held down after reconnecting the battery. I don't see where the OP says the screen is misbehaving - all he says is that the haptic screen is silly (which can be a valid statement regardless of whether or not it's working properly).
